I think I paid around $75 for my yellow version of the same car.
Same price (or there about) for the green 427 version also but that was many years ago.

Speaking of corvettes, I have an almost complete collection of corvettes consisting of every Autoart,GMP, and Exoto corvette.There is only one that I an missing. A 1956 or 1957 vette. One of the best looking vettes in my opinion.I'm not referring to the Autoart 1957 Corvette SS but rather a 1956/57 street version. I refuse to accept the so called corvette from Road Legend/Maisto/Burago with the truck tires, poor fitting doors and decals for emblems rather than photo etched .Junk in my opinion.Does anyone know of a qualiy 1956/57 corvette in 1/18 scale?? Am I missing something? Can't figure out why it appears to never have been made.

Oh, I forgot. I also have the Penske #9. That's '4' Exoto C2s in my stable. As much as...
... I thoroughly enjoy my Exoto C2s; from what I understood from past reading....
The Penske #9 1:! was a '66 ...nor a '67 as Exoto has represented it.
Not sure why they cut 'that' corner. '?'
It's still a very nice model.

I acquired this same model MIB for $60 in 2009.
The paint, wheels and moldings are beautiful. I can ignore the lack of carpet, the doglegs and the inoperable headlights.
