Yep! Years I go I de-SS-ed mine. I preferred a regular Impala.... notice the stock wheelcovers and "wide whites." Great pic! 😎 😎

I liked the Sunstar 1961 Impala so much. I kept buying them. I have a white one, two red ones and four black ones. I did sell 2 of the black ones.

The Sunstar ‘61 Impala model showed up unexpectedly as I used to read a few modelling magazines and didn’t know about it. I was stunned when I saw it at how beautiful it was…almost perfect to my eyes. You can see from Chris’s pics just what I mean…looks like a 1:1. And that Chevy pic is “magic in 18th scale” as far as i’m concerned. Thanks again Chris for that pic.
