For the 1963 LeMans race, Briggs Cunningham enter three all aluminum bodied lightweight E-Type Jaguars with their 3.8 liter straight sixes modified with Bosch fuel injection and dry sump lubrication. Only 12 were built overall so it could not be homologated and somehow managed to be classified with production E-Types. The #14 car, Cunningham colors was driven by Walt Hansgen and Augie Pabst were a DNF due to gearbox issues. Cunningham and Grossman finished 9th overall in the #15 car. This 1963 race marked the end of Cunningham Racing.
The model seems pretty accurate with the ride height slightly higher than pictures of the 1:1

very cool model. Hard to beat an E-type, especially in race trim.
