For the 1963 LeMans race, Briggs Cunningham enter three all aluminum bodied lightweight E-Type Jaguars with their 3.8 liter straight sixes modified with Bosch fuel injection and dry sump lubrication. Only 12 were built overall so it could not be homologated and somehow managed to be classified with production E-Types. The #14 car, Cunningham colors was driven by Walt Hansgen and Augie Pabst were a DNF due to gearbox issues. Cunningham and Grossman finished 9th  overall in the #15 car. This 1963 race marked the end of Cunningham Racing.

The model seems pretty accurate with the ride height slightly higher than pictures of the 1:1

@bob-jackman Would you like it more if it didn't have numbers on it? LOL

Nice model but one with a serious problem - they forgot to finish the stripes! Here is a photo from pit lane and then a photo of my 'fixed' models

@rich-sufficool Could never figure out why they didn't do the back of the model - very odd but not something that couldn't be fixed.

very cool model.  Hard to beat an E-type, especially in race trim.
