.....the new shelving units get built and installed. Gotcha! 😉
@chris exactly, except I want them on floating shelves with lighting that compliments them.
@franklemire woah, now that right thare is a multitude of vehicles in a great way..
Frank, if you want less clutter maybe you could invite a few of us over and we could take home one of your models…😂
Yepper-Pepper! Frank KNOWS how to create impactful presentations, very nice - very nice indeed! 😎 😎 I'm happy to just have stuff on the shelves.... 🙄 🙄 Many of my walls look a bit different. 😏 😣
@chris As usual, I'm humbled by your collection, although just thinking about dusting it gives me the shakes!
@franklemire Honestly Frank, it's really not a problem. I do go around the room with a feather duster a few times a year, but that's about it. Quite frankly, the greatest "dust maker" in that space is me. 🙄 🙄 On the other end.... is my hobby desk (where all the "magic" happens ). My saws, files, Dremel etc... can create quite a dusty mess! 🙄 🙄
I don't have the space so I have to be selective with my acquisitions and, to save on dusting, I am putting as many models 'under glass' as I can. It will also keep me from damaging the fragile adornments on the 1/43s.
@modeldadeeee I am putting together some options for my larger models, but here is a portion of how I am storing my 1/43 group:
This stack is actually four layers tall.
@gdh I am surprised those are 1/ 43 models as they appear to be larger looking.
