The BEST 1/18 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air available - until a "quality" Bel Air hardtop is released. HW61 did a nice job, however, the model sat a bit TOO high, and WORSE, the front wheel track was TOO wide. Years ago, I fixed both "issues." IMO, it now looks much better. The LAST two pics show the model's original wheel (rear height & front track) configuration.
Terrific model - Excellent pics Chris!!
And you painted the roof black? Nice! I prefer the solid color. And you painted the B pillar to give it a htp look, even nicer!

No...no, I didn't paint anything - I just lowered the ride height a bit AND narrowed the front wheel track.
Those last TWO pics were included ONLY to show the original height and the "too wide" front wheels. Only ONE model has the optional white top & B-pillars, the other is exactly how mine looked BEFORE I adjusted things. 😉
@bob-jackman Thank you Bob, I truly appreciate that. 😉 😀 😀 My ONLY issue now is.... I have many other HW61 '57's .... but I'm too LAZY to "fix" them - maybe I'll get around to it one day..... 🤔 🤨 🤔 😔 😔
