Newest acquisition of one of my fave cars, the W100 Mercedes 600. As usual with KK-Scale, there are no opening doors or anything and honestly it's perhaps a slight bit overpriced for what you get, but otherwise this is still a really good looking model that is certainly imposing and solid. Some slim whitewalls would have been nice to lighten it up a bit, but regardless I'm happy to have this having missed the (quite expensive) AutoArt alternative from some years back.

And for good measure, here's the 600 paired with one of my oldest existing models, Signature's 770 Grosser Pullman, the W100's spiritual predecessor.

Very cool!  I love the model!

As you probably know, CMC has just done a version of the Mercedes 600 Pullman.

@marlowe-or-marty Yeah, I've looked at some unbox reviews on YT, but those are way way waaaaaaay beyond my pay grade. A hundred bucks is about my monthly spending limit, let alone a thousand! 😓

@jani-bodmann - I hear you!  That CMC version represents a significant financial commitment.  Even though I love the model I've not pulled the trigger either.

@marlowe-or-marty I imagine it's one helluva model and I remember the AUTOart model sold like crazy. I personally don't find the image desirable enough to blow that kind of money on what I'm sure is a museum quality replica.
