the epitome of a Land Yacht [PIC]
The Yat Ming model had really good bones. It was just a bit short on detailing. I painted the interior and chromed the trim. I blackwashed the grill and side spears; added wheel well trim, rocker arm trim painted the crest on the rear deck; fixed up the hub caps and.. I don't remember what else. It was a while ago. I never liked these cars when they were new, but a couple of decades later, I've grrown a bit fond of the over-the-top behemoths.

Super job on the upgrades.
Fine upgrades on this fantastic Yat Ming Mercury ! I have one in this color, too, and it's a favorite.
Nice overall but that interior is DDG.

You did a great job and what a difference it made, from toy to collectable.
I definitely agree.
