Although it appears that no two 250 GTOs were exactly alike, it appears the Holy Grail is this #19 from the 1962 Le Mans where it took 1st place in Group 3 GT class, and, amazingly, 2nd overall. Over the years I was always looking for a more precision model having a Bburago kit build, a Jouef NART Le Mans entry and an unusual variant by Guiloy with an integrated roof spoiler. Well, finally Kyosho did this really nice model of the #19 car that I was happy to jump on. That came about with Kyosho and Hot Wheels collaborating with Mattel's license from Ferrari. Since then, CMC, BBR and others have done top tier replicas that I couldn't justify paying the freight for. I'll show pics of the Kyosho here and of the aforementioned variants if I can find them in my screwed up archives. Note: the Borrani wire wheels have valve stems! LOL
The Bburago:
The Jouef NART LM:
and the Guiloy:
A couple more of the 1964 variant by Guiloy (I acceded the limit for pics on the above post) Only one of the Guiloy pics really show the integrated roof wing in the 3rd pic above.
Rich, thanks for the close-up of those beautiful wheels ! I’ve never seen that Guiloy model and i’m lovin it.

Great pics of those red Italian jobs. Some days I feel the same way - I have pics "everywhere!" 🙄 🙄 🙄
Here is my CMC version of the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO in black. (select full screen on the video)
@john3976 What's not to love? Your re-recording is just fine. Yes, many CMCs soar in value; the trick is to buy two or three when new, then resale your surplus a few years later, thereby "netting" a free model. 😏 🤔
Thanks Rich for this definitive display of Ferrari GTO models. I have the Kyosho and Bburago variations but not the other 1/18 ones. Love to have others.
