Big John Mazmanian's 1961 6-71 GMC blown Corvette drag car with the 283 stroked out to 327cid and the factory 4 speed replaced wit the B&M 2 speed Hydromatic trans for the 1963 Winternationals. By 1964, he sold the Corvette and joined the gassers with his first supercharged Hemi Willys.

The model is by Precision Miniatures and has been praised by the people that restored the 1:1 for its accuracy.

I normally don't collect models of racing cars but owning a 1/1 61 Vette I had to have this one. A truly amazing model and great pictures.

Nice detail on this car, the only thing I don't like is how they cut the rear wheel wells square instead of rounding them when they built the full size car. There is also a 41 Willy's coupe by ACME but it does not have the same detail as this car.

@100ford2003 In 1961, a trunk mounted Nike-Hercules SAM missile was only a $17.28 option.

This is a highly underrated model and worth far more than the cost of acquisition.  The detail is stunningly good for the price point.
