If you need to 'flesh out' your vintage Bugatti collection, here's two cheapo Bburago 1934 Bugatti Type 59s. The blue is a factory built road car and the yellow is a kit build Mille Miglia racer. Both got some paint detailing and washed with the yellow getting a touch of race day weathering. They're not worthy to be showcased, but fit in well in a line up.
As always Rich, your weathering techniques improve appearances tremendously. At fast glance, it's impossible to detect that these are really toys. Nice work (and pics )! 😎
Both appear as showcase examples in these photos. Very nice models.
I notice both share the same license plate number.
@bob-jackman They're old Bburagos so historical accuracy was trumped by cost per unit. I put these together about 30 years ago and all I knew about the actual cars then was 'they looked cool'. LOL
I have both, Rich but uninproved. The shading makes a big difference.
I have the blue one & have had it since the mid-80s. I loved all my Bburagos (& then Maistos) growing up.
