To Canada and back
Long story, but when this ACME model arrived, the box showed the #48 Dan Gurney Plymouth. Since I already had that model, I thought I'd mistakenly ordered it again, so I put it on eBay without opening it. A gentleman in Canada bought it, thinking it was the #48. He returned it and I had to refund not only his purchase price, but an additional $40 in shipping! Thanks ACME. I know it would be expensive to design a separate box for the street version, but would it be so hard to maybe put a sticker on therephoto no longer available

Now don't hate me, but their is a sticker/label on each end of the box. It's small, but it is there. We have the same thing with the (3) 1967 Yenko Camaro's we made a short time ago. Very expensive to do 3 different boxes when it's only 198 of each car, so labels it was. Did have one customer leave us a message over a weekend (we're open Mon-Fri) that said he received the wrong car, and had already sent it back. It was the car he ordered, just not pictured on the box. It was labeled though. So a suggestion to all of us, do look inside the box first...

I should have examined the box closer. I didn't even look at the end of the box, just the top. I have 4 versions of that model... two racers and (now) two streeters. I mostly collect 1:24, but these Mopars were calling out to me.
