These four traditional '32 Ford hot rods were all built and modified from GMP 'roadster' or '3-window' kits.... with the two '5-window' coupes incorporating basic pre-production GMP bodies (ebay) from a while before the 5-window models or kits became available. In the cases of the two red highboys, the engines are modified and detailed from the Chevy motors supplied in the kits, and the two 5- window coupes have other motors.....the blue full fendered coupe has a tri-carb Chevy 348 modified and detailed from the 409 that was in a 1/18 Graffiti sedan, and the yellow hiboy coupe has a tri-carb Olds motor modified and detailed from the one found in a Yatming 1/18 supercharged '41 Willys gasser.
All the models use polished aluminum tubing tail pipes, and the paint is custom mixed automotive basecoat/clearcoat. The simulated Merc hubcaps on the blue coupe are made from craft store fabric snaps.
When GMP released those kits, I thought of you. You didn't disappoint. Beautiful work as usual. Cliff.
Nicely done, Clifford.
