Wahoo!!! Thanks to Jim and Scott, Supercar Collectibles has shipped...
... the two Ford Bronco models I pre-ordered over a year ago.
That means I can begin working on the Doug Nash Bronco Buster funny car! This one is going to feature a ton of custom fabrication as the entire chassis will have to be created. Fortunately, I've accumulated a lot of reference photos.

You know? I do believe you can pull this off. Keep your cuts straight and "fab to fit." This...
...will be yet another SHOW STOPPER! The great advantage here is that THIS Bronco is a sealed body; I guess these do come in handy (sometimes). "Hobby plastic" could form the entire chassis while wheels and trim can be sourced through AMCE (GMP). Dude... you're there!

Sealed body??? Uh-oh! I didn't know. Is it resin or diecast?
You're right. For my project the sealed body doesn't affect much. However, it might be a problem if the body is resin as I've never tried working with that medium.

It's diecast with no opening features.... part of the "Artesian Series."

Ahhhh..... I feel better now; I think. Now that I think about it...
... it's probably a lot easier cuttin' up resin then it is diecast metal.
Yeah, I know, I know! I'm a drama queen. Never happy! 😉

Resin, like plastic, will melt fast when Dremel cuts are stationary. Diecast is FAR more forgiving.

I think you're better off with "sealed diecast" ...that you will soon have 'cause IT'S ON IT'S WAY!

Resin cuts fine.....I've cut, shaved, trimmed many of them. Remember my 50 Chevy and the 2016 ZL1
Camaro convert I did, among others. But they make way more mess than cutting diecast. Plus the rigidity of the metal makes it much easier to work with. Sealed resin is probably the best started model to use when cutting and sectioning IMO. Should look great when done Marty.

Assuming it is resin, please be careful.
I'm sure you know about the hazards of cutting and grinding any material, but resin dust is especially nasty. PLEASE wear breathing and eye protection as you create your next masterpiece.

Yep, sage advice! I wear a respirator, full face shield, and gloves when I'm...
... working with the Dremel regardless of the material! I don't take unnecessary chances with my health.
