That Facebook algorithm for my video feed has become completely tailored to my wishes. It's good and bad as I'm getting some really fascinating stuff. The bad news is that I'm becoming addicted to all the content. I just watched a video of this very Lancia Stratos barreling around the twisting heavily forested narrow dirt roads. I can understand how this dedicated rally race car was so dominant in the '70s. That Dino V6 offered enough juice to let tis car go balls out. When I thought about it, I was just as impressed with the camera car that stayed in front of it as it chewed up the road.

AUTOart's model of this 1976 #10 Monte Carlo Rallye winner really captures that car in stunning detail. I love the colorful Alitalia livery too.

The Lancia Stratos always looked tough to my eyes. A purpose built rally car that could everything well. Wonderful model Rich.

"The Lancia Stratos always looked tough to my eyes."

...for me, it was "tough to look at!"      😏

I mentioned this before.... I had an R/C toy of one of these but NEVER thought it was a real car until YEARS later - when I actually saw one.   Rich's AA model is fantastic, but the phrase, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,"  is most appropriate here.  😉 😉
