designed by Takumi Yamamoto?!?! This 2 seat, mid engine, 4WD coupe is powered by a 646 hp 5.4 L Ford V8 with snazzy butterfly doors. So what is his street cred that put Mr Yamamoto in the driver's seat at Citroen's "Style Citroen" design team? He's a top designer for Polyphony Digital, creator of the "Gran Turismo" computer game. The GT was also to appear digitally in "Gran Turismo 5" making the car a joint effort between the two companies. Three slightly different iteration of the GT were built to correspond with the game. Shown first in 2008 at the annual Paris event, Citroen promised to make a limited run of six GTs with a $2.1 million price tag. Unfortunately, development and production cost turned out to be too expensive for only six cars so the project was shelved. Model by Norev.
Once again Rich, you've reinforced your title as the "King of Obscurity!" π§ π€ͺ π€Β Β I've heard of Ford, the game Grand Turismo,Β and I know what 4WD & V8 mean. Other than that.... π π¬ π π¬ πΒ

IMO, the only thing that could make this Citroen more French is to have a cigarette sticking out of its front bumper and a glass of chardonnay in the front console.
