What if? An eminent disaster is coming and you have one model you can grab and save. What model is it?

Cheater! I have a few one-of-ones. I would grab one of them, most likely my 1/43 EMC Hartman Roadster, top-up in yellow.

Fabulous model Frank. To me that would be a definite keeper. Jim Hall made some fabulous cars and this is an iconic one. Thanks for sharing.

People would mourn my passing, saying : "Well, he was a nice guy, but perhaps a bit indecisive sometimes."

Really hard to choose, but probably this one....

The rescue crew would probably find my cold, lifeless body in my model display area; a victim of hopeless attachment.  In my hand would found be my Motor City 55 Pontiac Safari wagon.

Some great answers. My answer lies somewhere between Mike's and Jack's. I too like the MOC Safari but I would pick the Star Chief convertible as My dad had a 1/1.

Are you referring to the Hartman Caddy?

@rich-sufficool, Yes, the EMC version in 1/43, from several years ago, came in top-down, yellow with orange stripes, top-up, yellow with blue stripes, and red top-down. The red one was done in white metal with about 25 done in resin.

@jkuvakas That's a helluva video. I had a flashback from the 60s. LOL

I do like the Hartmann Cadillac but always feel uneasy - especially in the orange and cream colourway - at its close resemblance to the 1936 Paris Salon Figoni et Falaschi Delahaye.
