Why do the cars mean so much?............................................................video
Better than great, had me crying like a baby, THANKS
That was a lovely story...
I cried while I watched that video, too!
It reminded me of a very special friend I had
for many years. The car he drove when we met:
A 1974 Caprice Classic convertible - silver with
a black up top.
He's been dead for years now - and the car has been
junked long ago.
That was a beautiful thing that son did for his
father.
Reminds me a bit of waiting for a Camaro I bought back in 1998 or 1999. Sitting waiting on the front steps, rocking a little. Called the wife and told her "it's coming" and she only said "I'm on my way" and she came home from work. Needless to say (?) I was a bit emotional when the semi came around the corner. My Yenko had arrived...

Not afraid to admit my eyes teared up just now. It was a BIG deal to me to get this car, and I do wish I had it back.
I'd seen that video earlier, and do like it. Good to share it with all here.
Fantastic story with a beautiful ending. Love the 65 Chevy. Thanks.
A wonderful story ! It's one that current car companies should look at.
God.....that was WONDERFUL! I had a '65 Impala convertible.
This brought tears to me too!
That video really got to me, sweet ride!!
