Today I bought the 1:18-scale "She Country Mustang" in Evening Orchid, honoring Ann Goodro (of Goodro Ford of Denver, Colorado) after her husband died to get Ford to manufacture Mustangs with the feminin touch.(read: color)
She managed to increase Mustang sales.
Four colors were available, of which I picked the Evening Orchid-version.
Any of you guys familiar with Goodro Ford ?
Here's a picture from the Internet.
It looks really good ! I recall the Playboy Bunny girls pink Mustang II cars, I believe and, of course the various pink Mary K cosmetics automobiles provided to sales reps, I think.
It's pretty cool to have one these in your collection. These vehicles are a footnote in Mustang's rich history, and this Greenlight is a fairly decent representation of that period. Congrats! 😎 😎
@grockwood Yep, those are cool too! I have a decent 1/18 Mustang collection, but it really doesn't include any of these "speciality" versions, so they're nice to see. 😎 😀
OMG! That's very close to my 1:1 Mustang, and the first car I ever owned! One day I'm gonna acquire it and repaint it to match my car.I haven't been buying 1/18 for some years. I do have a couple of Mustang regional releases.
