I always loved that Dauntless dive bomber. I built a Monogram 1/48 a zillion tears ago, My father bought me a huge gas engine fly by wire Dauntless that you could drop the bomb from its swiveling carriage. I played with it for months before he took me to the park to fire it up. Within 15 minutes it was destroyed in a crash. Anyway, I now have a big heavy Hobby Master dicast with all parts operational. I display it with the dive brakes open. It's cool as hell.

This is a book I have that you might want to find and check out. It was done by Motorbooks International in about 2001 and is really interesting and filled with photographs.

@grockwood It's 1/32 which is compatible with my dioramas. It's heavy and offers different configurations including two different machine guns, retractable landing gear, operating centerline bomb cradle with pilot and gunner.
