Your opinion welcomed! I found a web supplier who has several Sun Star 1:18 rally cars on sale for under $30.00 Do any of you own any of their cars and what are your thoughts (paint,shutlines, quality, etc.). Thanks for your replies.

Ken, Sun Star are virtually unique in producing die cast rally cars nowadays.
Honestly, they are/were not quite as good as AUTOart, Kyosho and Minichamps, but having said that, at full price, they are considerably cheaper and good value. I think I got the same information as you and Rich this morning and my view is that you can buy with impunity.

I have 2 SunStar Rally cars...
Audi Quattro. AutoArt makes a few liveries, but SunStar makes a lot more. The AA's are much more detailed, but I'm really happy with mine. The wheels are pretty awful, but later releases have much better looking ones.

Citroen Xsara. AutoArt is the only other company to make these & they're sealed. SunStar's is really good for the price.
The Lancia Stratos, Escorts & Subaru WRC cars all look really good.
