A buddy of mine ordered this car. I took this picture at the Chicago Auto and want it real bad. Found out BBR has one in 1:18 but it's $500.00 , will search for a 1:64 - thats more my speed!!

....HA! Made you look you dirty crook! Very cool Marlowe. I thought about a "double red" convertible and told my daughter-in-law that if (IF!) I get one (I really do like back seats!) ...my plate will read "OLDFKR" (hope I can said this here).
Anyway...very nice, congrats! Can you sleep? Are you a clock watcher? Any buyer's remorse?

I've already purchased chrome wheels to replace the ones on the car. I'm also installing red brake caliper covers. My previous C5 died a couple of weeks ago with 243,000 miles. It was time for a new steed.

Oh yeah, you gotta have chrome rims. I'm NOT a fan of these "black-out" wheels.

I like those black rims but I like them more on your car than mine. I love how...
... they give a car "attitude" but I think I'd tire of them after a short while.

Congrats on the new wheels Marlowe. A friend has the same car with the red caliper covers but with the black wheels. What a great drive. It would appear that you are buying this car at the optimum time to avoid some depreciation but still new enough to get the maximum driving experience of a new car.

I agree. I've already purchased chrome wheels and they'll be mounted...
... as soon as I get the car. It's in route to me now and I hope to have in about seven days.

I'm in So Cal so the car is being shipped to me. It's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (Sat).
