1/24 Porsche Junior Tractor

Was not aware Porsche made tractors until recently. According to our leading car auctioneer, Shannons, they debuted in 1950 and production of different variants continued until 1963. This is the smallest the Junior, with a single cylinder engine developing just 14 HP. Great little model, originally thought it was a bit "plasticky" but after seeing the 1:1 photos, where they are thickly painted I reckon its OK. Thanks Tony P for alerting me to these little beauties, they really diversify my collection. And hey John B, you're a tractor fan too, where are you sir?

A 1:1 it sold at Shannons in 2016 for $28000AUD

Fantastic Geoff! Yes, Porsche made some tractors that are now Super Collectible. And of course, Lamborghini started making tractors before they made cars! Nice find!

I`ve posted all my stuff so many times,even I`m tired of looking at it! And,for whatever reasons,haven`t shot anything new in ages.....I did upgrade my camera to a D-850 after my 610 did a nose-dive onto the concrete......so I`ll be back in the swing of things one of these cool mornings
