Where do I start? This is a superb model. While I've bought a number of Automodellos since Danbury finished this is the closest in quality new model to one of theirs I've received since DMs demise. Everything opens yey!! no doglegs, detailed interior and engine bay, paint is as good as I've ever seen, should be able to pick this up in the photos.
Firstly sorry about the backgrounds, I just took the pics as soon as I opened it.
Quality secure packaging, theres no way I'm removing it from its beautiful timber base. Includes a car pictorial history booklet and bonnet/door opener I'll use on all models.
Photo etched Chinese lettering on bonnet and boot, and beautiful intricate dragon hood ornament.
Folks if you're looking for a quality 1/24 model of a lesser known car, highly recommended.
Beautiful Model!! Great detailing and splendid pics - background? Coouldn't see it for the car. LOL! Thanks for sharing!!!
great score Geoff !!....it`s hard to find the appropriate adjectives for this elegant beauty.....so easy and inviting on the eyes
OK. I'm jealous. It's definitely a step up in tech and parts count from my old 1/20 and the base offers a superior presentation. Enjoy.
thank you gentlemen. I've emailed the seller with a "pass on my compliments to the maker" message and a link to this post in the very faint hope that they may be interested in producing similar quality 1/24s to meet our pent up demand.
So, obviously quality 1/24 diecast can still be produced at a reasonable cost. I think DM had unrealistic profit expectations and thus gave up the market. There's plenty of demand out there. eBay shows over 11,000 sales of DM and FM models over the last 90 days. That's for 1/24.

spot on Mark! Model cost US$87, 11 day preparing and shipping to Australia from China US$42
