WOW!  The photos in this Brochure look like the REAL Chevy!  Under normal circumstances I'd have been on my phone in the much talked about "New York Minute" to place my order.  But with the slightest hesitation, I quickly said to myself, "Another '55 Chevy", and than the quick thought, "Oh crap, I already have seven '55 Chevy's", followed by the immediate, "I've already got six other models on order right now".

So I made the executive decision to "pass on this model...for now".  Well, "for now" turned into "the Big One Got Away".  Sadly, I've not yet added this beauty to my collection, but I am holding the thought that maybe some day, I will.  Of course having made the decision to not get it upon seeing this Brochure and not ordering it, the old saying, "He who hesitates has lost" rings in my ears.  However another saying, "Never say never" reminds me that, yes maybe some day, it could happen.

It's a nice model. I didn't pass on this one, I love the color and wanted it to match the '55 Nomad I already had.

George, hang in there...I'm sure you will find one. Since you don't do 1/43 scale, you surely have money saved up when the right one comes along. Seriously, it does look great with the matching Nomad as John's picture shows.

Yup, patience I've always been told is a virtue and I've got patience.  I have the Nomad, so I'm halfway there.  Smile Thanks for the great comparison pic John!

I will someday I'm sure.  And LOL, with regard to that extra money I supposedly have saved from not buying 1:43's. it's been spent on my other hobbies.  Smile Seriously though, if it's meant to be, I'll get that '55 Chevy eventually.

I've got the Nomad, but never found the convertible. I have a tailgate issue on the Nomad. I can't get the tailgate to close. I've fiddled with it a lot but don't want to force anything. Something to do with the hinges. Any suggestions?
