A simple Flyer featuring a beautiful model. There is a story that goes with both this Flyer and the actual model/car. Ove the last decade or so, I've mellowed greatly on this one. When the new restyled T-Birds were introduced in 1961, I was 10 years and I did not like the looks of the car even a little bit. Today however, it's become one of my favorite body styles. I wasn't able to obtain this model from DM when it was introduced as it was offered only to owners of their Limited Edition 1955 Thunderbird. I've never mellowed on the little Two-Seater T-Birds, so I figured I'd never add this '62 to my fleet. Then about 5 years ago, it came up on the Diecast Auction at an attractive price, and I landed it. It's one of my favorite cars in my collection!

For what it's worth, I think the '62 is slightly better styled than the '61. The latter will be featured TOMORROW in I'VE GOT MAIL.
