It's a wonderful issue - congrats!
A wonderful part of the history of the automobile. Nice catch.
Yes, and it’s kind of a two way street as I’m finding out seems these classics are not so high on collectors lists anymore, particularly since the mints have gone out of the diecast business.
on the other hand prices on the 1900-1930s style models have dropped significantly….
this little gem is in excellent condition missing only the hood ornament and packaging. No scratches paint rash or other imperfections.and with mine being the only bid cost $36…
to me that was a steal…
@larry-kemling its a wonderful model Larry, the interior fascinated me when it first arrived about 30 years ago. I'm a huge Bugatti Royale fan, would love to have had all 6 (or 7 including the Edsers replica) as a display. The FM Edsers is another example of a model that has become cheaper in the grouping you mention. Sorry if I'm continuing to repost these but in case you missed them here are my now 4 Royales, including the 2 kits. Both kits are reasonably priced too Larry.
Geoff , great selection of Royals….hopefully a few will find their way into my collection to by and by!
