Come on Hollis, how many DeSoto's have you made?  I said yesterday you were killing me, and believe me you are.  The '56 DeSoto is my favorite of all DeSoto's.  When Danbury Mint gave us the hardtops and convertibles back in the day, I ordered them quickly.  Now I see that you've made several different color versions of your own.  I'm in pain!

@georgeschire

Well George I have built about 10 I believe. Sold some on Ebay earlier this year and last part of last year. Have two on there now. Four I will be keeping for myself.

Dad taught me to drive on his '56 DeSoto. It just has a soft spot in my heart, I guess. Heat'ed it when they stopped making them back in '61.

Just wasn't happy with the colors DM did them in. So started experimenting with some broken cars to see how to make them my own. You can see the results.
