An older, techwise, model from TFM of the two-seater sport convertible that was re-issued a few years later in this color combo as an LE. It's still a pretty decent model that certainly captures the look and answers the question of what Mercedes did with their drive train when they stopped racing the year before. I imagine this was a fairly peppy runabout in its day.
