1964 GTO
I found a vinyl top. There was correct interior trim and another post sedan roof and post...I haven't found them yet! I even had a tiger tail coming out of the gas tank.photo no longer available

My original presentation for the Muscle Car Series... Had to be around 2000. This was a Don Holthaus Resin Model, which in its own right, is worth a bunch. Paul Kravchak was working at Paramount. They made our photo pieces. We had him do this for our display. There were about 4 people commissioned to help me get this done. Management did not make it easy! They set unrealistic deadlines...that I met. In the end, they killed the whole idea. Instead, released only a few cars. Over time, I noted quite a few popped up, but not how I spec'd them. I know, as I have all the original pics!

They really decontented the GTO from what I had developed.
If you hold the model upside down and towards the light you can see the chassis gapping. I was appalled. It was as if they were trying to purposely upset me. But alas...I'm still around making stuff...they are not! FM management was it's own worst enemy!
The model was optioned like the photo car, but it was light blue...actually very attractive with a white interior. In the trunk is the motor for the power antenna. The mirror was a remote. When I researched the car, I sorta' recall that outside mirrors were optional...yes, that's what I said. Here is a car w/o a mirror.

Funny how stuff like mirrors used to be options. Try ordering a new car without outside mirrors! I did a 1:1 '57 sedan delivery resto mod years ago. The passenger seat was an option but I don't think you could get a passenger side outside mirror. If you've ever driven a sedan delivery, you know that they give a whole new meaning to the phrase "blind spot"!
