Great shots! I always liked that C5 configuration; Corvette called it the FRC, for Fixed Roof Coupe. I bought a new 50th anniversary 2003 Z06. That car only came in FRC form. Most other C5's were either the standard coupe, with removable roof panel or convertibles. Few non-Z06 cars had the FRC option.
FM initially made the C5 model without the rub strip molding on the sides of the car but later added them to their tooling. There are red, white and blue C5's with the molding and the exact car/color combo without them. The astute Corvette model collector, of course, had to have them all!
Hmmm... I didn't know that the '03 Z06 only came as a hard top. From what I've learned about the FRC, it was built only for the 1999 and 2000 model years. The manual-only FRC was intended to be a cheaper, more enthusiast-focused alternative to the regular hatchback Corvette. It wasn't a version of the coupe minus the targa, it was more like the convertible with a hard top bolted and bonded in place. It had the highest chassis stiffness of all three models, and was the lightest by about 80 lbs. Corvette didn't make it as bare bones as originally planned, feeling that it might cheapen the Corvette brand. There were not a lot of FRCs sold, and have become more collectible over the years. I'm currently looking for an FRC for a vettenet client.

You got it, great Corvette knowledge! Yes, the '03 Z06 only came in the form of the FRC. Me, in 2003 with the Z06, the 2nd new Vette of my three:
