For 1957 Cadillac's top of the line Eldorado marque split nomenclature into the Seville tudor hardtop, the Biarritz convertible and the hand made 4 door hardtop $13K Brougham. This Dusty Rose Poly Biarritz seems like a bargain at $7286 with some 1800 built against the mere 400 $13K Broughams built for the price of a 2 bedroom home back then. The Eldorado kept its Ferrari inspired egg crate grill and surrounded it with a massive chromed frame/bumper piece featuring rubber tipped "Dagmar" bumper guards. The grill, badging and scripts were anodized gold tone, and the body featured a rolled rear with spiked tail fins. Capable of 118 mph, the car was powered by a325 HP 365 cid V8 with 2X4 bbl Carters linked to a 3 speed automatic transmission. The car was equipped with virtually every feature imaginable. Optional was a removable hardtop for those winter months. I love this Danbury Mint model and was delighted to see it with all the scripts and badges either cast or photoetched in gold tone.
Spectacular pics Rich ! Thanks !

Wonderful pictures Rich. One that I did not get and now wish I did.
I have the Biarritz and the two Sevilles and I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. DM did these just so well.
What beautiful photography of an exceptional model. Thanks Rich.💯
+1! the closeups are incredible. Have this and the blue Seville, great color pair. Remember the toothless grill on the first batch of these? As always great pictures and writeup Rich. Have it, love it.
I love this metallic rose color and have always referred to it as the Dentyne Cadillac. I must say though that I much prefer the tail end of the standard Caddy; it seems to go better with the front end styling IMHO. The Seville has more of a European flair to my eye.
