Steve, some real eye candy there. I think Australians are about as close as you can get to
Americans in our interests and outlook.

Steve...That Maloo pickup is a beauty. Never heard of that one before. Quick, somebody make a diecast. I'd buy that one in heartbeat.
Man, that thing looks fast...

Yes, I still dont know why GM/USA turned the GTO from Aussie Land into a Rental Car for the USA Mkt
The GTO is probably fun to drive but it's too simple looking. The Maloo looks great.
I'd love to go chasing kangaroos in one of those Maloos. Bet they have a pretty impressive top end on those long runs through the center of Australia.

The main reason it is failing in the marketplace is because it doesn't look like a GTO Meanwhile the new Mustang LOOKS like a Mustang.
Tom, I pulled up behind a new white Mustang and noticed they have the big chrome Gas cap.
We had the one on our '73 Mach-1 stolen a couple of times so we finally put a plain cap on it an kept the original type in the trunk. No doubt the kids will be collecting the new ones as well.

Dan, the gas filler door on the new Mustang is on the left quarter panel. That's just an emblem on the rear of the car made to look like the old-style gas cap. I guess I've been lucky...I still have the orginal one on my '72 Mustang!
Pete, that means the kids will leave a bigger hole when they rip it off with a crowbar.

You're probably right, Dan!
