Not sure what sort of global coverage the terrible floods here in Eastern and South Eastern Australia have received, but they have been very destructive, particularly in rural towns where many houses, farms and businesses have been inundated, causing catastrophic damage. Here in Melbourne our second river the Maribynong flooded for the first time in about 50 years, flooding about 250 houses in a suburb close to me. I'm about 400 metres from the river but because of the foresight of the builders and government authorities who raised out entire housing estate area by around 3 metres, before building our houses, we were saved. Heres a couple of shots of a normally busy main road about 150 metres from my place takien around midday about 3 weeks ago at, or near the river peak.
Anyway, until the last couple of days, we've had daily persistent rain meaning little outdoor activity and full on model car building.
A Monogram 1/24 1930 Packard Roadster, great car, great kit.
A Heller Humbrol 1/24 Citroen B.I4 Taxi Landaulet.
Interesting vehicle, OK kit to work with.
Revell 1/24 Tractor " Fendt F20 Dieselross "
I love these little tractors, they make a fantastic, diverse addition to a 1/24 vehicle collection.

Beautiful models. Be safe and take care!Â
Wow, you need a good boat.....tail! HA! That Packard boattail is GORGEOUS! The Landaulet is fantastic and, of course, my favorite, the Fendt is terrific!! Hope the waters subside quickly; All the Best!!
Beautiful models. Sorry to hear about the flooding, I've haven't seen many stories about it. I hope things improve soon.

Geoff, I hope the flooding as subsided by now. I too built the Packard model many years ago.... I painted mine Packard Maroon.
All the best wishes for Melbourne and you with these continued weather events. Many regions are having similar problems.
I really like your models, especially the Packard. Great fun and therapy.
By Jove !!............you`ve done it again !!..........your current three pieces show such advanced skills 😀 ....with all the volunteer work you do,to produce these in such quicktime is remarkable.......the tractor is a little charmer Geoff
thank you gentlemen, much appreciated. The rain has subsided over the last week or so and we are still cleaning up after the floods locally, but some rural areas are still suffering the worst of it.
