41 Willy

Hello all,
Hope all is well with you and yours.
First time poster here.

I have an interesting Racing Champions car I would like to know more about.

It's a blue 41 Willy 1/24 with silver flames on the hood and front fenders. The numbering on the bottom says 1711SS.

It's signed. And that's an understatement.

It has Dean Skuza's signature on the trunk.?

It also has 10 other signatures on various parts of the car. His pit crew perhaps??

I can't find another example of this paint scheme anywhere.

And did Skuza race a 41 Willy at some point, as I suspect...?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea how to value something like this.

Cheers,
Johnnie Walker

probably not a ton of value.

It might bring something but looks like someone tried to write over the original autograph in black? And as I found with a Paul LeMat signed American graffiti 32 Duece, a lot of people will try to bargain down because you don't have photos of it being autographed, etc (provenance). I just keep my Duece and love it. I don't care if it sells, but if someone wants it, they will pay my price.

The car itself probably has little value either. Do you have box and such? Hard to tell. If you want to sell it, list it and see if you get any bites.

Otherwise enjoy it for what it is.
