50 years of Corvettes set
What's a 50 years of corvettes collection worth. Thanks.
Bob
What's it worth? ANSWER: What someone is willing to pay for it.
Ha! Just joking. 😉
Seriously, there isn't enough information.
What scale?
What condition?
Have they been displayed?
Have they been displayed in a smoke and dust free environment?
Do they have original boxing and paperwork?
What's the condition of the boxing?
Sounds like the set DM put out
If so, all packaging and display, maybe $400ish. No packaging considerably less. These didn't hold their value well.
Bob, if you're referring to the "cast" (NOT diecast) 1/43 set put out by the Danbury Mint....
.....then I'm afraid that even a MINT (correct boxes, paperwork, undamaged cars, shelving unit, etc...) will not fetch very much.
Individual cars on eBay currently garner not more than a few bucks each. The value of this set has decreased year after year. Most collectors discontinued their "subscription" to the set once the true (and crude) quality of the models became evident.
For a complete MINT set, I'd say you'd be lucky to get $275.00

50 years of Corvettes set
Yes it is the DM set. Just wondering if it is worth anything.
Thanks for all the replies.
