#6 ...this was about the time I became infatuated with cars (and trucks). I was 6 years old in 1958.

Nice pictures John. If this was the base truck, then yes, black wall tires but,
This truck and I am not an expert, is top of the line.
I thought, front windshield sun visor, chrome hubcaps, chrome window moldings, chrome grill, chrome mirrors and wrap around rear window were all extra cost options making it kind of the luxury truck. so I vote whitewalls also.
Base models had all chrome trim painted white, black window moldings and a smaller back window. Just my opinion, thank you for letting me comment.

Exactly....
It's on my list of projects to paint the grill/bumpers white. I'll get round to it some day, maybe. Same with this one:
