wow! the detailing on this is fantastic John. Couple of questions if I may:
What kit is this please? It appears to be much better quality than the one I made up a few months ago. Separate door handles, wipers, clear headlight lenses etc.
Did u use a Sharpie for the line and logo detailing? Incredible steady hand if you did.
What panel line accent did u use?
All in all a great build mate, well done!
That is a fine build of this great-looking 1965 Chevrolet. It is in an excellent color here, too. One of our neighbors had a 4-door 1:1 Chevrolet Impala that was beige with a black vinyl top. They are very attractive automobiles !
Absolutely beautiful. I love the 65/66 Impala.😎💯
@geoff-jowett Geoff:
The kit was made by Monogram, kit #85-2470. I did not use a sharpie on this one. It was a Pilot Silver Marker Extra Fine Point for all the silver trim and lettering.
thanks for the response John, I cannot recall ever seeing a Monogram Impala kit. Mine was a pretty low grade 1/25 AMT. Just went on a Pilot Silver Marker Extra Fine Point hunt, plenty available here in Melbourne.
Terrific build - I'm impressed with the engine detail and gorgeous color combo.

thanks John, somehow I've missed it on my searches. really struggling with postage costs from the U.S. that actual models postage is listed as $64.20 to Australia, around $100Aust. Too much 😞
@geoff-jowett Geoff. I fully understand. At least you now know what the box looks like.
