Back in the Late Cretaceous, FM released this 1937 coffin-nosed Cord 812 Phaeton Cabriolet. As an example of FM's early releases, it's old tech and I wasn't happy with the 2 dimensional applique dash, but it sure captured the essence of Gordon Buehrig's design.

I have this one and like it a lot It may be old-tech, but as you said it captures the essence of the design perfectly. It's a great color too.

I had one of these and sold it but I can't remember why.  Your pics make me wish I still had it.

I also had one in the beginning but as my collection grew, I decided I really only wanted to collect from 1940 up.  Now sorry that I sold it.

The Cord 812 was quite advanced for its time: front-wheels-drive, pop-up headlights (first ever), no radiator grille, single piece bonnet.
