Over the last decade, I've built a few detailed '50s era stock GM sedan delivery models using mostly metal, lots of scratchbuilding, and often some damaged diecast models for grilles, bumpers, trim, etc.
'55 Pontiac Pathfinder six cylinder. All '55 Pontiac sedan deliveries were built in Oshawa, Ontario and like all Canadian Pontiacs at that time, were based on a Chevrolet plarform
'57 Pontiac Pathfinder six cylinder. They all also were built in Canada based on a Chevrolet platform
'57 Chevrolet 150 six cylinder.
'51 Chevrolet sedan delivery. This model was based on an AMT '51 Chevrolet sedan plastic kit with lots of scratchbuilding and detailing
Magnificent, all! But that '51 Chevy Panel Delivery in pastel yellow is my favorite!!
All of them are superb ! Great job on these panel delivery beauties ...... and in terrific colors, too.
absolute artistry! As good as it gets. Thanks Clifford, hope to see more soon.
Being Canadian I recall all of these on the roads back in the day. I believe Pontiac did them up to and including 1958. The rarest one of all in my area was the '57 Pontiac. My Dad's friend had one in the late 60s; it was in great condition. If only I had known.....
Superb model building from one of the best. Thanks for sharing Clifford.
Excellent Clifford! My favorites are the two Pontiacs.
Wow. I have had a fascination with sedan deliveries. Your work is incredible.
All spectacular pieces. Thank you for sharing.
