@georgeschire George, while driving on the motorway the other day, my car 'TOLD' me to pay attention and put my hands back on the wheel.

We're only a short time away from being completely robotic beings that are programed to say and do whatever we're commanded to do.  The human race as God created it, is doomed.  I'm glad I'm on the way out before this is total reality.  

@georgeschire George; believe it or not I think mankind is going to turn this mess around, I truly do.  It will be quite painful and expensive no doubt and will include a massive shift in attitude and priorities, but I think the collective will of our western world will overcome.  Btw I don't say this to encourage a political conversation here as it's not the place, but I just want to throw in my 2 cents worth (Canadian currency, so 1.4 cents...lol).  George, having said all of this I too am very grateful for being born in 1952; I've had a good run.  Given a choice though, I would jump on that time machine we occasionally talk about, with a 1-way ticket to 1955.

All we can do is be optimistic and believe in God.  As for that Time Machine, I'd without hesitation take a one-way trip back to any time in my life BEFORE 2015.  And like you, without getting political, I'll just say that 2015 is when the toilet was flushed on the country's value's and moral's we all once had.
