The Auburn Automobile Company was a premium brand maker of automobiles in the 20s & 30s. Their three distinct and now legendary brands consisted of Auburn, Cord & Duesenberg. While Auburn began making cars in the early 1900s, the legendary status of their cars really began in the late 20s under the leadership of E.L. Cord. With his efforts in bringing the Duesenberg brand into the fold and with the creation of the Cord brand in the late 20s, the three premium brands and their legendary status began. Today every example of these great automobiles is a classic and for this avid lover of the three, it is a genuine thrill to view each and every one of them when I get the opportunity.

In our little world of automotive miniatures, Auburn, Cord & Duesenberg are nicely represented in scale. While the majority of them are in 1/43rd, some very nice examples are available in the larger more detailed, 1/24th.

All three are over a decade before my time, so they don't draw my interest.  However, your great pics make me wonder why I didn't years ago expand my horizons.  Thanks as always John.

Earlier than I collect,  but it doesn't preclude me from appreciating their beauty. They are works of art on wheels.💯
