Danbury Mint offered several Roadmaster models for 1947 & 1948. They were available in an Estate Wagon & Convertible for 1947 and for 1948, convertibles and sedanette coupes in a couple of colors. For 1953, several Skylarks (included in the Roadmaster series) and the Estate Wagon in two colors. For 1956, they offered a convertible and a hardtop sedan. It's too bad that more were not offered. A prominent name in the Buick lineup for many years, more would have been most welcomed.
Today's post is featuring a few shots of DMs Hardtop Sedan - 1956 Buick Roadmaster Riviera Hardtop Sedan in Seminole Red, Cameo Beige & Carlsbad Black - a very imposing model and the only one offered in a 3-tone paint treatment in this scale.

One of our earliest and nicest tri-color cars! Photo'ed beautifully.
I don't know how I missed this one. But I think I like it better than the 2 door version. Maybe it is just the paint job.
Beautifully photographed John. I sure love mine. This thing is a tank.😊
hadn't really noticed how well the interior colors match the exterior before, thanks John
I'm glad to have this and the convertible in my collection. Love the pictures.
Another DM masterpiece parked proudly in my display. John, great pics of course.
