great setup John. Finally landed one a few months back after years of searching for a MIB at a reasonable price. Displayed alongside the convertible and coupe.

@geoff-jowett One of my very favorites, and I’m so glad DM went with blackwalls! Great photos also! For some unknown reason, whenever I look at this model l see it parked near a horse stables. Must be one of those subconscious memories.

@bob-jackman I think they also did a nice job on the sedan deliveries and pickups (though I did choose the GM ‘41 over the Chevy, partly because of the rarity factor).

It would have been very cool if they would have done the AG delivery (the automobile based delivery) also.

I think the one I’ve shown here would have been an absolutely gorgeous model. Last but not least, how about the little known AG coupe pickup. Yes, it’s a real thing!

ddd

Bob, Kevin, here they are all in a row with a 1941 Dodge pickup bringing up the rear. And to paraphrase Geno, 'not so beautifully photographed!' The AG coupe pickup is intriguing Kevin.

@kevins I managed to "pickup" the GM pickups over time. The car based sedan delivery is gorgeous and would have been a must have for me. Back in the day Sears used to sell the pickup box which could be inserted in the trunk of coupes after the lids were removed. Love the pictures.

Durham Classics did the '41 Chevy coupe/pickup in beige or black in 1/43 as I recall.

@jack-dodds Wow, I can’t believe there’s a model of that, too cool!
