This Chev woody is IMHO absolutely gorgeous and the chestnut brown really enhances it. I wish this general color would be used more on woody models of the 40s and early 50s. I had this model and regrettably sold it about 5 years ago. It's one I wish I still had in my collection.

Jack, I can top your regret. I never had it all, and not sure why. Likely when it was originally released, I had 6 or 7 other DM/FM's on order and it just got put on the back burner. However, evidently it got so far back on the burner, that I forgot about. It's a beautiful model for sure! And John, as always your photos bring it life!

That one looks superb ! Fine images of this one and the station wagon is a great subject matter. In 1/18 I have a 1939 Chevrolet wagon by Motor City Classics and a 1948 Chevrolet station wagon by Welly.
John, you're killing me! This and the Buick woody are 2 of my most wanted 'I wish I hads'
If I recall correctly, when this model was first introduced, someone had come up with white-wall rings that stuck on over the black-wall tires. IMO, the whitewalls greatly enhanced the look of this model. Does anyone else recall the port-o-wall stick-on circles?
BTW, love the model and the pics!

Have it, love it. DM at the top of their game. Jack, I agree that the Chestnut Brown is a fabulous color with the woodies.
