I picked this model up a few years ago because it looks interesting. I was intrigued by the '38 Buick styling influence. Although it is a static model, it displays nicely and is an excellent example of a 4-door sedan, which is a model type rarely seen in this scale.

VERY cool John; and filmed extremely well! I can see those '38 Buick styling cues in it, good eye. I presume, from the pics, that it is static as opposed to having opening doors & hood?

This model has a mix of American car design cues IMO; with a strong Chrysler presence.

Yes; agree with THAT as well!

Here are examples of a '38 Buick and '38 Chrysler - both four door sedans. Both show elements of the ZIS:

38 buick
38 chrysler

It is a static model. I see the Chrysler style influence too. I did not notice that before. Very cool.

One of my local Buick/GMC dealers has a 38 sitting in their showroom.  Very nice to look at.
