Again, after a few days absence I am resuming the posts of the Ford Fairlane. Today's post will spend some time with DMs '56 models.
The 1st one DM issued was the Sunliner, it was released in 1996 and has been in my collection since it was issued. I've always liked this model, but it definitely has some weaknesses. My example sits too high and the door gaps in the front are quite large. With that, I wouldn't trade the model, I love the colors. While the '55 is my favorite of the two years, the changes in the '56s style make a statement.

The 2nd '56 Fairlane issued by DM was the simply wonderful hardtop coupe. It was issued as a Limited Edition of 5000. This model corrects all issues of the previous release and was issued in 2011.

Tomorrow I will feature DM's absolute best '56 Fairlane (my opinion of course) this one is just amazing.

Two of my favorites. Great pics John! The '56 Ford was the best looking Ford of the fifties.

Two GORGEOUS fifty-sixes! The Mandarin Orange has long been my favorite of the coupes! Beautifully photo'ed John!

+1 I agree!
great presentation John, thanks. I seem to notice that the headlight lenses on DMs 56 Fords seem more opaque than on their other models?
I see that too. I never noticed it before. Not sure why. The '55s seem to be as well.
thanks John, I've read this after reading and responding to your later post. I only have the 55 hardtop and mine is not as noticeable.
