A couple of days ago I posted DMs two '53 Buick Roadmaster wagons. In that post, I pointed out what I called, the different attitude of the Buick's style. That attitude was brought about by just a change in the wheel treatments.
DM also gave us two very distinctive differences in the same basic model w/the '49 Mercury woody. Now talk about a different attitude, these models have it.

I have the beige (or is it actually cream?) version and love it. It doesn't ooze class like the previous Buicks, it seems to display more of a utility look, but it is very nice indeed and looks great on display with the black Merc coupe.
When I thought about your "Model Dose" today John, my thinking was that you'd do this Mercury Woodie. BAM! I was right. Though I do agree with Jack Dodds, that it doesn't "ooze class like the previous Buicks", it is in my opinion a great looking wagon and one of my favorites. I don't have the Blue Beach Bum version, but wouldn't mind adding it someday.
