Automodello issued two Lincoln Continental Mark's, the MK III and the MK V. 1st issued was the Mark III, released in 2014 as a '71. It was offered in several colors. The model was reissued in 2017 as 1970 & 1971 versions. The Mark V was released in 2019 in a few colors as well. The MK II has always been a favorite style of mine. I recall attending the Detroit Auto Show in the late 60's when I saw my first Mark III, it was love at first sight for this 8-9 yr old.

Very nice models.  The MK. III is my favorite Lincoln.

Both gorgeous. My ex neighbor, Paul has a '70 Mark III, white, black top, black interior. It looks like it just left the showroom. It rarely left the garage. He recently moved away, but I do still see him from time to time.

I had a 1979 for about 15 years. By '79, it was definitely underpowered, but what a showboat! This model is identical to it save for a Dove Gray top and interior. Model by BoS:

MkV 034

I would love to have the MK III, but again I say a static model way over priced in my opinion.  Wish the mints had made one.  Mom had a 70, I eventually bought 2 later models, 1986 MK III in a stunning gold, base model.  Traded up for a 90 model Bill Blass edition in Green.  Enjoyed both models and sometimes I think that it would be nice to still have one or the other.

I had the bronze Mark III for a time but sold it because it had so many issues.  I bought it at a good price second hand but the flaws always bugged me.  I'd like to have one again someday if I could find one at a decent price and in mint condition.

nice models although I dont have either. Like Mark I'd grab a 78 if I could find a mint copy. Pretty much every one I've seen has at least the hood ornament missing. Great pics, thanks John
