I've covered several of my models in previous posts, but there are still plenty more to be seen. Over the past several years, I have assembled a decent selection of these models. In this collector's opinion, these are some of the finest models that were available in this scale.
Today's post will once feature a model from 1959, Chevrolet's El Camino. This the 1st of two years that the El Camino was offered on the full-size platform. It was later reintroduced on the Chevelle platform in 1964. The 1959 model offered is very well done and was issued in, I believe, 5 colors. The one shown here is my favorite of the three I have. My database indicates the five color combinations to be, Roman Red & Snowcrest White, Frost Blue & Snowcrest White, Tuxedo Black, Ermine White & Crown Sapphire.

Man that looks brilliant in red & white!
Great photos John!!
Great photos of a great model. I have to agree the red really pops.
notice how well the wheels, sidewalls match the rest of the vehicles colors. Great model and shots, thanks John. I have the Frost Blue version but much prefer this one.
