The most recognizable presidential limo has to be the stretched 1961 Lincoln Continental X-100 of the JFK era, especially for us seniors. This is part of Yat Ming's Presidential Series.... great models at a modest pricepoint.

A very nice model, this and the "Quick-fix" version are both excellent representations of 1:1.

Rich, great shots of the limo.  I had this one, but sold it.  Now I wish I still had it.

Super pictures Rich. I have managed to collect all of the YatMing 1/24 scale presidential limos. I found most of them from a collector who was selling his collection.

@bob-jackman Yeah, I think I have them all too. They make a nice presentation on the shelf.

Thanks for posting this, Rich.  I have it in my 1/43 collection, but yours is much better detailed.  It's a beaut!

@d-m-holcombe Do you have the one with the Kennedys and Connollys figures in the classic Zapruder film poses? I remember looking at how well done the figures and the car was modeled, but I passed because it kinda creeped me out.

In '03 for the the Ford100 Birthday celebration I was enamored and sad to see the Lincoln at the Henry Museum.
I want to go back as there wasn't enough time to tour every place I wanted to go.

I used to have all of them but gave them to my son when I changed the focus of my collection.

Rich,  I have the same 1:43 "Minichamps" version. I removed the rear seat figures and touched up the seat. It creeped me out also.

Great pictures as always.  I have the Kennedy Limo featured here and it’s awesome.  I black-washed the grille and removed the clunky hood ornament and put a PE tched one.  Two subtle changes that drastically improved the look of this Gem IMO
